Chelsea Struggling in the EPL

Chelsea have slipped to 10th in the Premier League following a big drop off in form. Calum McFarlane’s side have gained just one point from their last seven league matches.

The Blues lost six games in a row from March to May, including four home defeats. Those home losses came against Newcastle 1-0, Man City 3-0, Man United 1-0 and Nottingham Forest 3-1.

The West London side recovered with a 1-1 comeback draw at Liverpool. Chelsea had 0.49 XG and six shots in that stalemate.

McFarlane's team couldn't build on the Liverpool draw and lost 1-0 against Man City in the FA Cup final. The Blues had one shot on target, 0.62 XG and conceded in the second period.

Tottenham Edging Towards Safety

Tottenham are unbeaten in four of their five matches since Roberto De Zerbi's appointment. Spurs have moved two points above the Premier League's bottom three with a game in hand over West Ham.

The North Londoners' upturn in form started with a 2-2 home draw against Brighton. Consecutive league wins at Wolves 1-0 and Aston Villa 2-1 followed.

De Zerbi’s side gave up a 1-0 lead and drew 1-1 at home against Leeds last time out. Spurs had 1.27 XG and Mathys Tel struck just after half time before Leeds scored a late penalty.
