Draws Dominate Recent Atalanta vs Juventus H2H

Atalanta and Juventus have met on 17 occasions since 2020. Juventus won five games while Atalanta secured three victories. Nine of the 17 games finished deadlocked.

Atalanta Tough to Beat in Bergamo

Atalanta come into Thursday's Coppa Italia contest after a solid defensive performance secured a goalless draw at Como. In a backs-to-the-wall display following the early dismissal of Honest Ahanor, Raffaele Palladino's side held on for a point at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.

La Dea have been in decent form domestically, remaining unbeaten in nine of their last ten fixtures (excluding Champions League). Atalanta sit seventh in Serie A, five points behind Como.

After a slow start to the season, Palladino's men have built up a strong record in Bergamo. Atalanta are unbeaten in 14 of 17 home games since August.

Bidding for a first Coppa Italia title since 1961, Gli Orobici secured their place in Thursday's quarter-final tie with a 4-0 win against Genoa.

Juventus Blast Past Parma

Juventus make the trip to Bergamo with sky-high confidence after a one-sided 4-1 road win at Parma. Brazilian defender Bremer was the unlikely star performer with a second-half brace, taking his tally for the season to three goals.

Luciano Spalletti's side have been in excellent form over the past couple of months. I Bianconeri won nine and lost only one of their last 12 matches across all competitions.

Defensive strength has been the foundation for the Old Lady's recent resurgence. Juventus leaked just four goals in their 12 most recent contests, while they have conceded a combined expected goals (xG) total of just 2.26 across their last five domestic fixtures.

Coppa Italia winners in 2024, Spalletti's men eased to a 2-0 win against Udinese in the round of sixteen.

Predicted Lineups and Team News

Atalanta BC (3-4-2-1) Marco Carnesecchi; Giorgio Scalvini, Isak Hien, Berat Djimsiti; Davide Zappacosta, Ederson Jose, Mario Pasalic, Nicola Zalewski; Charles De Ketelaere, Giacomo Raspadori; Gianluca Scamacca.

Head coach Palladino has just two injury concerns for Thursday's Coppa Italia contest. Raoul Bellanova and Mitchel Bakker both face late fitness tests.

Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman is no longer available after completing a deadline day transfer to Atletico Madrid.

Juventus FC (4-2-3-1) Michele Di Gregorio; Pierre Kalulu, Bremer, Lloyd Kelly, Andrea Cambiaso; Manuel Locatelli, Khephren Thuram; Chico Conceicao, Weston McKennie, Filip Kostic; Jonathan David.

Head coach Spaletti is unable to call on a trio of attacking talent this week. Kenan Yıldız, Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik are confirmed absentees for the in-form visitors.

Speaking last week, head coach Spalletti spoke about the need to rest players ahead of a busy schedule for the Old Lady.

"There will be a lot of games in the coming weeks, so we need to find alternative solutions. The number of matches is increasing, and as far as I'm concerned, we need to increase the amount of rest.

It seems to me that the players are responding well to these changes,”
