Team Vitality vs Nongshim RedForce Betting Predictions
Team Vitality and Nongshim RedForce will battle it out for a spot in the VALORANT Esports World Cup 2026 semifinals on Friday, July 10, in their first clash of the season.
Both teams have made it through the group stage relatively comfortably; however, Team Vitality have looked stronger, going 2-0 with wins against Karmine Corp and NRG. Meanwhile, Nongshim RedForce ended Group C 2-1, having beaten G2 Esports twice and needing a comeback in the second clash.
While RedForce have proven they can face anyone, they are also somewhat unproven, having beaten just G2, who haven’t been that solid. So, while the potential is there, RedForce have more to prove.
- Team Vitality looked potent in the group stage
- RedForce have only beaten G2 Esports this tournament
- Team Vitality are rightly viewed as favourites

Team Vitality Can Challenge Anyone
Team Vitality have had quite a resurgence in Stage 1. They placed second in VCT EMEA, fourth in VALORANT Masters London, and are now well on their way to at least a top-eight finish in the Esports World Cup.
A deeper run than the quarterfinals is likely if Vitality can continue where they left off in the group stage, where they smoked Karmine Corp and defeated NRG to end Group B in first place.
The first game, against KC, was a one-team show, and while NRG showed more resistance, Vitality emerged victorious with 16-14 on Ascent. 8-13 on Lotus, and 13-10 on Breeze.
There were some questions about Vitality and whether the packed schedule they’ve had to deal with will introduce some fatigue. But so far, they’ve shown no signs of slowing down.

Nongshim RedForce Have to Show More
Nongshim RedForce did not qualify for VALORANT Masters London, but that does not take away from this team’s high ceiling. RedForce won the Pacific Kickoff event and the Masters Santiago, and despite their seventh-eighth place finish in Stage 1, they showed up in the EWC qualifiers.
In the Esports World Cup, RedForce have shown mixed results. They bested G2 Esports in the first round of the group stage, then lost to Gentle Mates, and secured their second victory with a closely contested 2-1 victory against G2.
The potential is there, but looking at RedForce’s results, they’ve not shown much, having only beaten the struggling G2 Esports. So while they are hard to doubt, RedForce have a lot more to prove.
