OG vs BetBoom Team Betting Predictions
OG and BetBoom Team will face off on Friday, October 2, in the Group C decider at BLAST SLAM VIII, in a rematch from the first round, which ended in BB Team’s favour.
BetBoom beat OG just a few days ago, then got stomped by Team Yandex. On the other side, OG beat themselves against BetBoom Team in the first round, but looked much more potent in their more recent game against MOUZ.
The first meeting between these two teams was close, and there is nothing to suggest this one will play out much differently. Another close game is likely on the cards.
- BetBoom handled OG in the first round, but only barely
- OG have been playing better than expected
- Another close game is likely on the cards

OG Are Looking Good
OG entered BLAST SLAM VIII as a bit of an enigma, having made major roster changes before the event. However, so far, they’ve yet to disappoint. At least to some extend.
OG kicked off the tournament with a 1-2 loss against BetBoom Team and added a convincing 2-0 sweep of MOUZ in the Group C losers' match. The latter was a very strong showing from OG, proving they can play at a high level. Moreover, the first-round loss arguably wasn’t deserved.
Despite losing to BB Team in the opener, OG have held their own weight and were in a good position to come out ahead, before they choked in the late game and handed BetBoom Team the win. Losses like that are not justifiable, but they do prove that OG can hang with BetBoom.

BetBoom Team Have Not Amazed
BetBoom Team have not been great this tournament, and the recent roster changes haven’t been working as well as expected. Save- in the mid lane has yet to amaze, and the team as a whole seem to not be doing too well in the current slow-paced meta.
While BetBoom defeated OG in the first round, the game was too close to praise BB Team too much. They would’ve lost had OG not shot themselves in the foot.
In their next game of the tournament, against the much stronger Team Yandex, BetBoom Team looked toothless. Not the best look for them.
