NRG vs Wildcard Betting Predictions
NRG and Wildcard will clash on Friday, September 25, in the first round of Group A at iBUYPOWER Masters fl0m's Mythical LAN 2026, in their first meeting of the season.
NRG enter this match as favourites, and for all the right reasons. They’ve shown significantly more this season, are higher-rated than Wildcard, and have demonstrated better form in the weeks leading up to the tournament.
Wildcard have had their moments this year, but mainly in lesser, regional events, where they did not have to beat many strong teams. Combined with their worrying 3-7 record ahead of iBUYPOWER Masters FML 2026, this makes it hard to back them in this contest.
- NRG are in good shape
- Wildcard have managed a poor 30% win rate over the last 10 games
- This is NRG’s game to lose
First Meeting of 2026
NRG and Wildcard have yet to meet this season.

NRG Are in Good Shape
NRG enter iBUYPOWER Masters FML after a fifth-sixth place finish at StarLadder StarSeries Fall, where they upset MOUZ, but lost the next two games against Aurora Gaming and MIBR.
Prior to StarLadder StarSeries, NRG also featured in the PGL Masters Bucharest NA qualifiers and the Esports World Cup qualifiers, producing mixed results. NRG crashed out of the latter in 17th-32nd place, but placed second in the PGL Masters qualifiers, losing the grand final to Team Liquid 2-3.
Despite not winning any big events, NRG have been showing solid form and are 9-4 since the start of August, which includes wins against some higher-rated squads.

Wildcard’s Form is Worrying
Wildcard have won two tournaments this season, most recently in May, when they claimed a gold medal from BC.Game Masters Championship #2.
Since then, Wildcard have attended four more events, but haven’t found much success. They exited Stake Ranked E3 in seventh-eighth place, BLAST Bounty Summer in ninth-16th, the Esports World Cup in 25th-32nd, and more recently, Thunderpick World Championship Global Qualifier in fifth-eighth.
Besides failing to win any events in recent months, Wildcard are also in bad shape, having won two of their last seven games. The two wins came against EYEBALLERS and Nemesis, which is hardly something to write home about.
