Level UP vs Xtreme Gaming Betting Predictions

Level UP and Xtreme Gaming will fight for survival on Wednesday, September 30, in the lower bracket of Group A at BLAST SLAM VIII.

Both teams slipped in the first round of play. Xtreme Gaming had to admit defeat to LGD Gaming, while Level UP stumbled against PARIVISION, without showing much resistance. Admittedly, Level UP had an impossible task in the opening match of Group A, facing one of the world’s best teams.

But even that does not change much, as Level UP have been in shaky form for a while now, struggling even against tier-2 teams. So unless something changes drastically, Xtreme Gaming should be poised for a very comfortable win.

  • Level UP are in terrible shape
  • Xtreme Gaming looks set to win
  • Level UP have a very tough task ahead

Level UP With More to Prove

Level UP qualified for BLAST SLAM VIII by beating Team Lynx and Pipsqueak+4 in the European qualifiers, which is not a huge accomplishment.

In fact, they’ve not shown much in recent months, and even struggled against tier-2 teams, so it is more than fair to question Level UP and their chances of making it far in this event.

Their first true test against a tier-1 team happened in the first round of the group play, when Level UP got stomped by PARIVISION. In their defence, PARIVISION are one of the world’s best teams, but based on the eye test, Level UP are unlikely to find any more success against other tier-1 teams like Xtreme Gaming.

Level UP Squad & Team News

Level UP have not made any roster changes since signing the new lineup in June.

  • Nikolay "WoE" Ruban
  • Aleksey "Ainkrad" Diveevskiy
  • Nikolai "bb3px" Evdokimychev
  • Aleksandr "queezy小个子" Lipin
  • Andrey "Htrd" Fedorov

Xtreme Gaming Are Capable of More

Xtreme Gaming rebuilt their roster at the start of September and put together a very solid lineup. Unfortunately, it will not be on full display at BLAST SLAM VIII, as Xtreme Gaming will be without Xm, who has been replaced by Moon. This isn’t particularly worrying, but it does harm Xtreme Gaming a little bit.

In the first round of the group stage, Xtreme Gaming lost to LGD Gaming, but still showed a good fight, so I would not worry about them just yet. A deep run is still a bit question mark, but Xtreme Gaming, with the players they have, should not struggle against a tier-2 team.
