Global Esports vs Team Vitality Betting Predictions
Global Esports will take on Team Vitality on Saturday, September 26, in the opening round of Group B at VALORANT Champions 2026, in their first head-to-head of the year.
Both teams have shown good things this season. While Vitality had their run earlier in the year and looked worse in Stage 2, Global Esports stepped it up in the final stage of the year, and enter VALORANT Champions in good shape.
While there are no major differences in quality between Global Esports and Vitality, there are some questions about Vitality and their showings in Stage 2, as well as the month-long break they’ve had, which could introduce some rust and worse performances early into the tournament.
- Vitality can be rusty
- Global Esports have no apparent weaknesses
- This can be a very close game

Global Esports Are a Solid Team
Global Esports enter VALORANT Champions 2026 as VCT Pacific Stage 2 champions, having also found success earlier in the year, with a third-place finish in Stage 1.
They’ve, however, been fairly disappointing in the two international events, exiting VALORANT Masters London in ninth-10th and the Esports World Cup in 13th-16th place.
Global Esports have shown some good things this season, namely in Stage 2. Notably, they have demonstrated a deep map pool and individually, all five players have looked good. Kr1stal and autumn played a bit worse in Stage 2, but nothing too worrying.
While Global Esports don’t have any major weaknesses and are a solid team, their ceiling is a big question.

Team Vitality Are Strong, But Have Some Cracks
Team Vitality had a solid start to the season. After a fifth-place finish in VCT EMEA Kickoff, they turned it up a notch and placed top-two in VALORANT EMEA Clash, second in EMEA Stage 1, and fourth in Masters London.
Stage 2 hasn’t been as successful for them, but Vitality still made some noise, notably with a fifth-eighth place finish in the Esports World Cup. In EMEA Stage 2, they did not make it far, exiting the league in seventh-eighth.
Vitality head to VALORANT Champions as a highly experienced squad, with Derke and Chronicle both having played on this stage before. As a unit, Vitality also work well, but they tend to have their off games, when Vitality look like they have no clear goal or plan.
Firepower also could use more work, as Vitality have shown before they struggle against teams who can pick them apart. Additionally, Vitality have not played a game in over a month, which could introduce some rust.
