GamerLegion vs Yakult Brothers Betting Predictions
GamerLegion and Yakult Brothers will fight for survival in BLAST SLAM VIII on Thursday, October 1, in the Group D Losers Match of the tournament.
This looks like a close game on paper, as these are viewed as two of the weaker teams of the tournament. However, even between them, there appears to be a gap that is hard to ignore.
GameLegion have been in worrying form in the recent weeks, and have not shown any improvement in the first round of the group stage.
Yakult Brothers, on the other side, haven’t been amazing either, but have a higher ceiling, and they played well in the opening round of the group stage.
Form-wise, Yakult Brothers are in a much better spot, and they arguably have a higher ceiling.
- Yakult Brothers have looked more polished
- GamerLegion have shown nothing exciting so far
- This is Yakult Brothers’ game to lose
First Meeting of the Season

GamerLegion Look Very Iffy
GamerLegion are not a very trustworthy team. They are extremely volatile and unpredictable, with a fairly high ceiling, but also a very low floor.
One day, GL will play like a good team and turn into a pumpkin the next, and you never know which version you’re going to get.
However, based on GamerLegion’s recent showings, it is fair to say that their form is lacking, and the performance against Aurora Gaming in the first round of Group D wasn’t inspiring. That’s saying it lightly.
In the 0-2 loss to Aurora, GamerLegion showed nothing inspiring. Their macro was terrible, the laning phase was hardly any better, and it was a complete fiesta of a performance. Unless GL turn it around for Thursday, they look more than ready to get blown out of the map once more.

Yakult Brothers Have More to Show
Yakult Brothers are a very strong team on paper, but their recent performances have been lacking. Notably, Yakult Brothers did not impress at PGL Wallachia Season 9, which they exited with a 1-3 record, with just one win against PlayTime.
Results like that are not too inspiring, but the raw quality is still there, so it is fair to give Yakult Brothers the benefit of the doubt that they can improve.
In the first round of BLAST SLAM VIII group stage, Yakult Brothers faced Team Liquid, and while the game ended in a loss, the Chinese squad showed some good things and took a map off one of the most stacked rosters in the tournament.
This team has potential.
