G2 Esports Are Waking Up
G2 Esports are a strong roster, packed with high individual skill ceiling and raw talent. That, however, hasn’t helped them accomplish a lot in recent months, as G2 have suffered early elimination from most big events, often crashing out before breaking into the top five.
Their best tournament run since April came in September, when G2 Esports made the finals of FISSURE Playground #3, but even that is hardly worth much praise, given the event didn't feature many big teams.

Natus Vincere Are Struggling
Natus Vincere have been in a tough slump for a while now and have shown nothing exciting since their run to the Intel Extreme Masters Atlanta trophy in May. In the recent two months, NaVi have crashed out of the Esports World Cup in ninth-16th, BLAST Open Fall in ninth-12th, and StarLadder StarSeries Fall in seventh-eighth place.
Evidently, Natus Vincere are experiencing significant performance issues and have been struggling even against weaker opponents. In their last six outings, Natus Vincere have lost to Legacy, M80, G2 Esports, Aurora Gaming, and MOUZ, and have beaten only paiN Gaming.
Results like that inspire no confidence, and unless Natus Vincere turn it around big time for ESL Pro League, another early elimination appears very likely.
