FUT Esports vs T1 Betting Predictions
FUT Esports and T1 will face off on Sunday, October 4, in the Group A decider at VALORANT Champions 2026, as the two teams battle for a playoff spot.
Both teams have lost to 100 Thieves and won against JD Gaming during the group stage, showing similar form.
They also share the same playstyle, as T1 and FUT are both considered more brawly teams, who are not afraid to approach their games with more aggression and force a higher tempo.
This should be an entertaining game between two teams who appear equally matched.
- There is little to separate the two teams
- Both teams have managed the same record this stage
- No clear favourite

FUT Esports Have More to Prove
FUT Esports won their first game of VALORANT Champions 2026 Group A against JD Gaming without any major issues. The Turkish squad took down JD Gaming with 13-1 on Ascent and 13-10 on Summit, proving they came to China to play.
However, despite the fast start, FUT couldn't find success against the tournament favourites, 100 Thieves, and lost 5-13 on Split and 10-13 on Lotus. FUT had their chances to win Lotus, as they took an 8-4 lead in the first half, but could not break 100T’s defences after the switch, managing only two rounds (2-9) on the attacking side.
FUT have so far shown some good things, but they have yet to prove they can handle elite teams. As a more brawly team, FUT have a lot more to prove.

T1 Are Showing Cracks
T1 have been in excellent form ahead of VALORANT Champions, having posted some promising performance stats. However, most of their success came against weaker teams, so there were questions about whether T1 have the tools to succeed in this event.
Those concerns became that much more prominent after T1 had to admit defeat to 100 Thieves in the first round of the group play. T1 did not play poorly, as they won eight rounds on Summit (8-13) and nine on Ascent (9-13), but the quality difference was noticeable.
After a somewhat inspiring start to the tournament, T1 nearly slipped against JD Gaming in the elimination match. They edged out Lotus with 13-11, got smoked on Abyss with 3-13, and closed it out with 13-5 on Haven.
Not the most promising performance from T1, who seem to have some holes in their game.
