Team Spirit are the main candidates to win the event, which comes as no surprise to anyone.
They’ve been in explosive form in recent months, racking up some very impressive tournament placements, including a semifinal run at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major, a runner-up finish at BLAST Bounty Summer, and two title runs at the Esports World Cup and BLAST Open Fall.
As the most in-form team ahead of ESL Pro League Season 24 and with plenty of time to rest and prepare for the event, Spirit are hard to doubt.
Team Vitality were the most dominant team of 2025 and early 2026, but then hit a rough patch from May up until September, struggling to find any traction in their competitive endeavours.
However, things seem to have taken a turn for the better of late, as Vitality have managed a semifinal run at BLAST Open Fall, and then won StarLadder StarSeries Season 20.
While Vitality have more to show before we can believe that they’re back, the Bees are definitely showing signs of life.
Team Falcons are the reigning Major champions, which alone makes them a team to watch at ESL Pro League Season 24.
However, they’ve looked shaky of late and haven't reached the same heights at past big events, despite not looking terrible at either the Esports World Cup or StarLadder StarSeries, where they finished fifth-eighth and third-fourth.
MOUZ are listed as the fourth-most likely team to win. They have shown some pulse of late, with a title run at BLAST Bounty Summer and a semifinal run at BLAST Open Fall.
But their early eliminations from the Esports World Cup and StarLadder StarSeries raise some questions about whether MOUZ can challenge Spirit and Vitality for top spots at ESL Pro League Season 24.
