DetonatioN FocusMe Appear Weak
DetonatioN FocusMe have very little going for them ahead of Stage 2. They’ve struggled to make any noise in the first two regional events, and with no roster changes, DFM are unlikely to improve.
On a more positive note, DetonatioN FocusMe showed some fight in Stage 1, when they finished Group Omega 2-3, with wins against ZETA DIVISION and VARREL. However, when faced with any capable team, DFM fell apart, proving they do not have what it takes to challenge fore top spots.
While stronger than ZETA DIVISION, VARREL, and potentially Team Secret, it’s hard to be overly optimistic about DetonatioN FocusMe.

DRX Have Potential
DRX have been a competitive mid-table team this season, having placed sixth in Pacific Kickoff and fifth-sixth in Stage 1. While DRX have not moved any mountains, they have consistently been there, causing issues even to the region’s top dogs.
Their biggest strength is the ability to prepare for their opponents. While DRX tend to struggle early into patches, once they figure things out, they do well with anti-strats and are fairly quick to figure out the optimal strategy.
Having not attended the EWC or Masters London, DRX have not had plenty of time to analyse the game and prepare a plan of attack for Stage 2. How well they’ve done that, however, will only be known a couple of weeks in, when DRX clash with some more formidable opponents.
