Apogee Esports vs ASTRAL Esports Betting Predictions

Apogee Esports and ASTRAL Esports will face off on Thursday, September 24, in the opening round of Group D at Stake Pulse Beat II, in their third meeting of the season.

Apogee Esports enter the tournament as defending champions, having won Stake Pulse Beat I in August. They have since looked rough and have failed to find any notable traction, with a wild mix of results.

Especially in recent weeks, Apogee have shown cracks against weaker opponents, which doesn't inspire much confidence that they can make a run at this event.

ASTRAL Esports are one of the lowest-rated teams of the tournament, and one of the main candidates to crash out early. They have not won much this season, and even in their more recent outings, ASTRAL haven’t shown anything amazing.

On paper, Apogee appear stronger, but given their form and the quality of the two teams, a closer, scrappier game is likely.

  • Clash of two struggling teams
  • Apogee Esports need to show more

Apogee Esports Are in Shaky Form

Apogee Esports enter Stake Pulse Beat II as defending champions, having won the first iteration of the event in August. They have since competed only in various qualifiers, and have not found much success besides making it through 1win Private Club #1: Open Qualifier.

Form-wise, Apogee Esports have produced a bit of a mixed bag of results. They are 3-3 from their last six outings, with defeats against Nemiga Gaming, 1w Team, and HOTU, and wins against Esports Academy Copenhagen Extra, Aurora Young Blud, and BASEMENT BOYS.

Apogee have effectively not beaten any noteworthy teams in recent weeks, and while they showed strong form in August, their performances of late have been lacking.

ASTRAL Esports Look Weak

ASTRAL Esports are the second-lowest-rated team in Stake Pulse Beat II, sitting in 79th place in the global rankings. This comes as no surprise, as ASTRAL have not won much this season, with only one tournament title from Urban Riga Open #6 in June.

In the recent month, ASTRAL have featured mainly in qualifying events for Stake Ranked Ep.4 and Ep.5, PGL Masters Bucharest, and Logitech G Play Connect, failing to make a deep run in either.

Ahead of their clash with Apogee, ASTRAL have managed a rather poor 1-4 record, with one win against FOKUS (13-10) and four losses against Rune Eaters, 1w Team, Nemesis, and Nemiga.
