100 Thieves vs FUT Esports Betting Predictions
100 Thieves and FUT Esports will face off on Wednesday, September 30, in Group C of VALORANT Champions 2026, in their first clash of the year.
100 Thieves enter the match as favourites, which is hardly shocking. They’ve been the hottest VALORANT team in the world in Stage 2, having won both the Esports World Cup and VCT Americas Stage 2, proving they have what it takes to shine at VALORANT Champions.
FUT Esports have not been nearly as impressive and have looked mostly mediocre in Stage 2. Although a solid team, FUT Esports have some clear weaknesses, mainly a lack of consistency and overreliance on their firepower.
- FUT Esports have looked iffy against tier-1 teams
- 100 Thieves are in excellent shape
- This is 100T’s game to lose

100 Thieves Are in Good Shape
100 Thieves are one of the main VALORANT Champions 2026 title contenders, having demonstrated excellent form in the weeks leading to the world championship. They won the Esports World Cup, VCT Americas Stage 2, and have yet to show any signs of slowing down.
In the first round of Group A, 100 Thieves demolished T1, beating the VCT Pacific representatives with 13-8 on Summit and 13-9 on Ascent. It was an expected result and just one of many strong performances 100 Thieves have produced of late.
So far, 100 Thieves have yet to give a reason to believe that they can’t make a run for the trophy, and until proven otherwise, they’ll be hard to doubt.

FUT Esports with More to Prove
FUT Esports started VALORANT Champions 2026 with a 2-0 sweep of JD Gaming, who did not show much resistance. FUT Esports dominated Ascent 13-1, but needed to dig deeper on Summit, winning the decider 13-10.
On Summit, FUT Esports started strong, winning the first half 8-4, but then turned into a pumpkin and struggled in the second half, going 2-9. While FUT ended up ahead, they showed one of their main weaknesses: inconsistency.
FUT tend to be a momentum-reliant team that must get the ball rolling early. Moreover, they rely a lot on their firepower, which helps them dominate weaker teams, and catch some tier-1 teams off guard.
