The first Test is complete and it wasn't a good one for batsmen at all. The only English player to surpass 50 was Harry Brook while Travis Head smashed 123 in the second innings as Australia chased down 205 to win.
Travis Head has taken over as the favourite ahead of Steve Smith with Harry Brook moving from third to second favourite. However, with only one Test down and not many runs being scored, this is very likely to change.
Head, however, remains a good pick as the injury to Usman Khawaja means the left hander could potentially open for the rest of the series.
