A Stake player landed the full 10,000x Plinko multiplier, turning a $116.82 Ethereum bet into a $1,168,197.25 payout.

One Ball Was Enough

A Stake player has turned a single Plinko drop into more than $1.16 million.

The win came in the Originals section at Stake, where the hidden player wagered $116.82 worth of Ethereum on one ball.

Plinko was set to Expert mode, opening up the possibility of the game’s 10,000x top multiplier. The ball dropped through the board, bounced between the pegs and eventually found its way into one of the far-edge slots.

That was the one it needed.

The full 10,000x multiplier landed, pushing the final payout to $1,168,197.25.

There was no bonus round, no collection mechanic and no sequence of Free Spins to get through. One ball went in, one very unlikely result came out, and the balance jumped by more than $1 million.

Expert Mode Opens the Door

The 10,000x multiplier is not available on every Plinko setup.

To make that top result possible, the game needs to be set to Expert mode with 16 rows.

That gives players access to the largest potential multiplier on the board, but it also comes with much higher volatility. Most drops will land on lower-value slots, and the minimum multiplier can fall as low as 0.1x.

That means a bet can return only a fraction of the original stake.

The trade-off is obvious. Expert mode gives you a shot at the 10,000x edge slot, but it also makes the journey there much rougher.

For this player, the risk paid off in the biggest possible way.

The Ball Had to Reach the Edge

The 10,000x slots sit at the far edges of the Plinko board.

With 16 rows, the ball needs an extreme path through the pegs to reach one of them. Assuming each bounce has an equal chance of moving left or right, the probability of reaching one specific edge is roughly 1 in 65,536.

That works out at around 0.0015%.

There are two edge positions, but either way, the result is extremely rare.

That is what makes this win stand out. A $116.82 wager is already a sizeable Plinko bet, but it only becomes a seven-figure story if the ball finds one of the least likely places on the board.

This time, it did.

There Is No Trick to the Drop

Plinko looks simple enough that it is tempting to imagine there might be a way to influence the result.

There is not.

Each drop is random, and there is no starting position, betting pattern or timing method that guarantees the ball will reach the 10,000x slot.

The setup matters because Expert mode and 16 rows make the top multiplier available. After that, the outcome is down to the game’s random result.

That means the player did not “aim” the ball into the edge slot. They selected the riskiest configuration, placed the bet and got the result almost every Plinko player is hoping to see.

Why the $116 Bet Matters

A 10,000x multiplier would be a big result at almost any stake.

At $116.82, it becomes enormous.

A $1 bet at 10,000x returns $10,000. A $10 bet returns $100,000. At more than $116 per drop, the same multiplier pushes the payout comfortably past seven figures.

That is what turned this from a rare Originals result into a $1.16 million headline.

The multiplier was the same maximum win any player could theoretically hit on the right setup. The stake is what transformed it into one of the bigger recent Plinko payouts.

One Drop, One Million-Dollar Result

There is not much more to complicate here.

The player selected Expert mode, used the 16-row board, put $116.82 of Ethereum on a single Plinko ball and watched it find the 10,000x edge.

The result was $1,168,197.25.

For Stake, it is another major Originals clip built around one of its simplest games. For the player, it was the kind of result that does not need a long explanation.

One ball. One edge slot. More than $1 million.
