Champion Jockey-elect Billy Loughnane has picked up an excellent ride in today's opener at Ascot, as So Regal dominates the market for this year's October Stakes.
John and Thady Gosden's filly kicked this season off with two novice victories, before running Lilt close in the Michael Seely at York at the end of the spring. So Regal returned from a summer break with a decent effort in the Atalanta Stakes, staying on to finish fifth after looking a little rusty early in the contest.
