Match Preview
These two sides have met four times so far, with Paris winning on all four occasions. The Italian side arrive in France full of confidence after winning four games in a row, but are still slight underdogs.
Paris Searching for a Turnaround
Paris have made a poor start to the new EuroLeague campaign, and significant improvements are needed if they are to challenge for a top-eight spot. They currently sit in 16th place with a 1-3 record.
After opening the season with back-to-back defeats against Panathinaikos 91-72 and Partizan 92-79, the French side claimed their only victory in the third round, beating Zalgiris 82-78 at home. Nadir Hifi led the scoring with 21 points, although his shooting was far from efficient (7/20).
They led for most of last week's clash against ASVEL but ultimately slipped up in the final couple of minutes, losing an entertaining contest 98-96. Hifi delivered a much better performance, scoring 30 points on 11/22 shooting.
Virtus Bologna in Great Shape
Virtus Bologna struggled in their opening round in Istanbul, losing to Fenerbahce 78-68, before narrowly falling to fellow Italian side Milano 87-85. Marcus Carr impressed in the latter game with 10 points and 9 assists.
The odds were heavily against them in the third round against Olympiakos, but they pulled off an upset by narrowly defeating the reigning champions 96-94. Carr was named man of the match with 22 points and 10 assists.
Virtus Bologna made it two wins in a row last week by beating Bayern Munich 94-87 in Germany, with Wendell Moore making the difference by delivering 20 points and nine rebounds.
