2026 MLB Home Run Derby Format
Round 1
The eight contestants compete against each other – each receiving 20 swings – with the top four advancing to the semi-finals. In the evet of a tie, the player with the longest home run during the round advances.
Semi-Finals
The four players are seeded into a bracket, with seed one facing seed four and seed two taking on see three, and the two winning seeds advance. Each player has 15 swings, and in the event of a tie, there will be a 60-second swing-off.
Final
Each player will be given 15 swings to hit as many home runs as they can, with whoever hits the most winning. In the event of a tie, there will be a 60-second swing-off.
